SM Entertainment has officially given its last notification to the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki.

SM Entertainment held a press conference on 2nd November in Seoul 63 Building at 3pm. At the press conference, SM Kim Young Min representative and SM Japan Nam SoYeong president, SM Han SaeMi and Jung ChangHwan directors were present.

At the press conference, they revealed their stand about the case brought up by TVXQ members Hero JaeJoong, Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun as “a hoax exaggerating on issues of slavery and human rights.”

[NEWS] Park Bom to Start Promoting ‘You & I’ on SBS Inkigayo Coming 8th November

2NE1 Park Bom will open promotions for her solo song ‘You And I’.

With the song release recently, the song ‘You & I’ has gone up to the #1 spot on various music charts almost immediately. This will be good news for fans since it was initially planned that Park Bom will not perform the song on music shows.

YG Ent said, “Recently, Sandara Park’s solo song ‘Kiss’ is also #1 on various music chart but there is no promotions for the song. And it was set for Park to focus on preparations of 2NE1’s full length album set to be released in November.”

[NEWS] SM is Sure of Overruling Court Decision on TVXQ

Talent powerhouse SM Entertainment has vowed to fight back and win against a court ruling last week which granted three members of boy band TVXQ partial victory in their request to nullify their exclusive contract with the agency.

In late July, TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu had applied for provisional disposition of their 13-year contract with SM to which a court ruled that the agency will not interfere in their individual activities.

[NEWS] TVXQ Not Allowed To Continue Group Activites?

SM Entertainment will have a press conference today regarding the conflict with TVXQ.

Lawyers of SM Entertainment said:

“The court’s ruling for TVXQ is not fair. They didn’t consider the main reasons of the case. Their long contract is so that we can let them grow and have a long term deal with them. We want to look at their career in the long run and the court’s decision is not letting us do that. This is going to affect TVXQ’s international promotions. It’ll also create confusion for stars that want to have long term contracts and move on to bigger things later in their careers and for the companies that want to nurture talented people for a longer time. Not only that, it’ll have some unwanted consequences on exports of Korean music as well as other issues.”

They continued to say:

“Each year, we adjusted the contracts in favor of the members. Before this problem, the three members never complained about anything. Now that they have succeeded this much, they are complaining. They have just started to reach the top and now want to separate. Before a final decision is made, the three can do their personal and individual work. However, we do not acknowledge the right for the three to work as TVXQ”

Because of all this, TVXQ has not been able to work and SM Entertainment will seek to receive compensation for damages during the time that TVXQ has been inactive.

[NEWS] 2PM Continues Activities ‘Without Jaebum’ + Info On Music Video

The 6 member group 2PM has completed the filming of the music video in absolute secrecy.

Last month, on the 30th, 2PM had finished filming their music video and preparations for their activity for the first album on a set in Kyeonggido Kwangju. They have finalized their 6 member activty only a few months after Jaebum’s withdrawal from the group. Their management company, JYPE and the music video production crew have been secretive about the planning and concept of this music video.

[NEWS] SS501 Fans Doubtful of SBS Inkigayo Music Chart Results, Request for Clarification of Breakdown

Fans of group SS501 has raised their doubts about her the production team of SBS Inkigayo derived on their #1 winner.

On SBS Inkigayo aired on 1st Noveber, SS501 won #2 on the show’s chart. With that, fans are saying that things do not make sense and requested for the breakdown of deriving at the #1 winner from the production team to the show.

The part about the breakdown that had the fans doubtful is the the album sales portion. Part of the fans have also started a protest thread on Inkigayo’s viewers noticeboard.

[NEWS] Brown Eyed Girls’ New Music Video Under Scrutiny

On October 30th, Brown Eyed Girls released their music video to the song “Signs.” The reactions from netizens however wasn’t too positive as many felt the MV was a bit excessive. The MV shows a lot of violence that many felt went too far.

The video shows a lot of violence as the main character fights through a mob to get the “boss” to save his lover (who is Ga-In). In the process, there’s dragging of the body and even a stabbing as the main character kills the boss.

Meanwhile, the scene that is grabbing the most attention is the scenes where the Brown Eyed Girls are drowning in a case filled with water.

It is known that boyband 2PM has recently completed the filming for their upcoming MV as 6 members without JaeBum.

Also on 31st October, a countdown clock was put up on the group’s teaser site (2pm.jype.com), counting down to their comeback. And currently at Korean time 7.20am, the countdown timer shows 8 hours and 37 minutes left.

So with that, it means that 2PM’s comeback song will be revealed at about 3pm on 2nd November marking their comeback.
