2. SBS Website live streaming
Go to the SBS website and log in (you must have a SBS ID). Click on the “On Air” icon near the top left corner of the screen and wait while the TV screen on the left loads up.
If you need a SBS ID, go here to sign up. Click on the two “Agree” buttons and then choosing to sign up “Foreigner in overseas.” Fill in the information requested. You must provide verification of your ID by sending either a gif/jpg image of your ID card or faxing/emailing them a copy of your ID card.

For those of you wanting to use TVants but it’s saying it’s expired, you have to go to the website, http://www.tvants.com, and click the big red button with a star thing on it 🙂 it’ll download the newer version.

I tried KBS able for the KBS 2 channel. But for come weird reason, when i click on 2TV, a new window opens followed by a pop-up. When i click on the pop-up, it closes the window. I tried it in Internet explorer, but it’s not working…

For those who have problems with downloading tvants, i use to encounter that types of problem also.. Hehee, but its really simple.. You just have to go to http://www.tvants.com
As in you search the websites urself, on ur toolbar, and then you scroll down , and u can see this red box.. Just click on it.. Its the download button.. 😀

And i heard you need to fax your passport/ID(photostep version) to the MBC’s email accnt or something.. Like how it worked with KBS and SBS.. I tried once, but i gave up after that.. LOLS!
i have a problem with tvants and i really hope that you can help asap!
whenever the channel has finished buffering, a window will open stating that;
Tvants failed to play the channel within internal player after several attempts.
REASON :the half open TCP connection limitation is reached on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1.
SOLUTION: Please enlarge the limitation for better connection capacity and traffic throughput.
OR
REASON: Incorrrectly Injected Winsocks LSPs (eg Internet Download Manager IDM with advanced integration enabled) blocks TCP communications
SOLUTION: Clear the suspicious winsock LSPs by Internet Security Tools or disable the related software functions.

I am trying to find out how and where to watch KBS 2TV in time for YEH’s drama “Lady Castle” but none of the links are working for me.
yeah none of the links will work for me either well they do but i want to watch them in vlc mediaplayer and record them but i cant find links/urls to put into vlc like the one in option 11
12 hours from now Music Bank will air. And for no reason, KBS2TV Live isn’t working for TVAnts for the past 2 days now. I don’t want to miss out the show since there’s one hell of a tough competition going on. I’m keeping track of SNSD’s performance ever since. I tried KBS Able and it always gives me a Korean error message that I can’t understand or it just says that the page cannot be displayed from a pop-up window. To Good Samaritans out there please help me out and I don’t want to miss the show today. I have been working on this for 2 days now and haven’t slept yet. Thanks!

Don’t Use Mozilla Firefox if you Want to watch SBS on their Homepage.

I’m having problems with TVants and I wanted to know why.
I don’t seems to get it. I can’t search for the channels.
And for the Windows Media Player, I’ve followed your instructions and it says,
“Windows
Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you
might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your
proxy settings might not be correct.”
What should I do? I really want to watch Korean Channels “live” from my computer.
Hope that I’ll have a reply fast.
OR are there any kind souls that would help me out here?

I went to the website, but I don’t understand Chinese.. I clicked the red bar, downloaded the set-up, but it was 0KB and I can’t open and install it.
May I know how I can update my TVants?

What’s the use? None of these programs have English subtitles.
Guys, remember that if one method isn’t working, just use another. There are many methods for watching these channels and most of the ones posted here are great. Happy watching!
