Actress Son YeJin and SNSD’s Yoona were picked by male celebrities as top ideal women.

Son YeJin who is called the ‘the symbol of purity’ was selected as the ideal woman three times in the ‘Ideal World Cup’ of ‘Champagne.’

Son YeJin was picked by Kim JaeDong, comedian Ji SangRyul and Super Junior’s Kim HeeChul. She was chosen above the likes of MBC announcers Han EunJung and Seo HyunJin and Wonder Girls’ SoHee.

[NEWS] Se7en Plans To Return To The States

Looks like Se7en will go back to the US after all! After it was revealed that the YG Entertainment solo artist was preparing for his Korean comeback at G-Dragon‘s concert, some wondered whether he gave up on the American market.

Regarding this issue, a representative of YG Entertainment stated:

Although Se7en released his US debut single Girls, it is not right to say that he had a proper debut with activities. Se7en is sorry to all his fans. He is thinking to payback with his great music and stage through his Korean comeback. … For a new start [at the US market], Se7en recently visited major music label companies throughout the week and came back. Because of the positive discussions he had, you can expect good news. … In Se7en’s Korea/US/Japan projects, we are not only working on his musical releases, but we are working on various other fields.

[NEWS] Jaebum Was With 2PM For Their Comeback Stage

After staring their activities as a 6 membered group, it has been revealed that 2PM’s leader Park Jaebum also participated in their comeback through an international phone call. Before they prepared to get on stage on KBS Music Bank, 2PM gave a phone call to Park Jaebum in Seattle and gave a promise to show their best stage along with their famous greeting.

Group singers usually have their own greeting and words of encouragement before a stage. For 2PM, it began with the leader’s “What time is it now?” followed by the rest of the members’ “It’s 2PM!” greeting.

2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards(MAMA) will be one of the first in Korea to launch the real time multi-angle web casting service on the Internet during the whole ceremony.

By ‘multi-angle’, netizens can choose to watch the ceremony from the different cameras positioned at different angles during the show. Added to the fact that MAMA will be having some of Korea’s top singers for special stages for the show, it will give audience a real feel of the performances.

Big Bang GDragon and TaeYang will have their first duet stage since debut.

Coming 21st November for 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2009 MAMA)’, the 2 will perform together on one stage. They will be performing the song ‘Korean Dream’ off GDragon’s first solo album, featuring TaeYang. This will be their first time performing a duet stage since their debut as Big Bang, and much anticipation is in for this performance.

2PM is said to have dominated the Monkey3 weekly chart.

For the 2nd week of music site Monkey3 (9th~15th Nov), 2PM’s ‘Tired Of Waiting’ is #1 on the weekly chart. Also 2 other songs are on the top 10 ranks – ‘Crazy For You’ at #8 and ‘Heartbeat’ at #9.

[NEWS] Mnet Invited TVXQ To Attend MAMA

On the 16th, it was revealed by Mnet’s office that they have invited TVXQ, whose members are in the midst of a legal dispute with their management company, to attend their year-end awards “Mnet Asian Music Award” (hereafter known as MAMA). This year’s MAMA will be held on the 21st November, Seoul, Jamsil Gymnasium.

Their office said, “MAMA’s aim is to show the rest of Asia Korea’s culture” and “the award ceremeony will be aired across the 10 main countries in Asia, like Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, where TVXQ is the best artist. Thus, Korea’s top artist cannot be excluded from the invitation.”
