Singer actor Kim Joon, who has received much love and popularity for his appearance in hit drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ earlier this year, has been confirmed of swine flu.
A broadcast staff revealed on 26th November that Kim Joon has been confirmed of the flu at a hospital earlier that day. He was given Tamiflu and is currently resting. Read the rest of this entry »

From 2009, Mnet annual music event MKMF will be changed to Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
A live program took place on 23rd October in Seoul Tower and the idea of the new music awards ceremony was revealed. Boys Over Flowers Kim Joon will take on musical.
After receiving much popularity acting as Song WooBin in KBS hit drama Boys Over Flowers and as a member of singer group T Max, he is casted for musical titled ‘Youth’s Journey’.
‘Youth’s Journey’ is a manga remake talking about Yeong ShimEe talking about the 33 years of his growing up, and will feature songs like Lee Seung Chul’s ‘Last Concert’, Lee Moon Sae’s ‘Flying into the deep blue night’, and Hyun Ji Yeon’s ‘You in the fading memory’ etc.
After the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, Kim Joon has not only been busy promoting within Korea but also overseas. And this will be his first attempt at musical.
He is double casted as the male lead together with Lee Jin Hoon who also did the musical Singles, and Lee Jung Mi and Kim Ji Woo have been casted as the female leads.
The musical will take place from 18th till 25th July.

If things progress fast enough, Kim Joon together in the group T-Max will release a new album coming end-June. And in the album will be a solo song by him, as of the other T-Max members as well.
And especially for the MV of Kim Joon’s solo song, Kim Hyun Joong, who was part of the F4 group in drama Boys Over Flowers with Kim Joon, will be starring as the male lead to the it.
It has been 2 months since the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, but the F4 honor and loyalty continues in its members.
T-Max’s company said on 10th June, “T-Max will release a new album end-June to early July. And in the album, the members will have their solo songs. Kim Joon is the first member to finish his recording. Coming 12th, he will be shooting for the MV in a set in GyeongGiDo. And Kim Hyun Joong will be the male lead to the MV.”

Fans have become really concerned about the health of F4 members Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon.
Both Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon were hospitalised on 3rd April for exhaustion. Kim Hyun Joong were rushed to the hospital after he fainted during a CF filming but he was dischared on 4th April after taking some rest.
While for Kim Joon, he was hospitalised after his performance with the other 2 T-Max membrs on KBS Music Bank on 3rd April. He received some treatment and was discharged on 4th April and had continue with his fansigning on 4th April in Busan.
Fans have been voicing their concerns about the 2 members having to continue with other activities even after the drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and no time were given for them to rest fully causing their health to deteriorate even more.
There are plans for Kim Hyun Joong to undergo a close full-body health examination on 6th April.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon will also be heading to Japan for promoting the airing of Boys Over Flowers on channel TBS.

25 year-old Kim Joon plays Song Woo-bin in Boys Before Flowers. Kim Joon has been called a “junior Jang Dong-gun” because of his looks and has great potential as an actor. This is his first acting role and he is already hooked on acting. He is also a member of the band T-MAX.
IS: Person whom you want to meet the most?
KJ: Since young, I have always wanted to meet Seo Taiji. He has been my idol since childhood days. When I was in elementary school, he was the face of the leading music then. Now, 17 years after his debut album, he is still active in the music scene and I have a lot of respect for that.
IS: Who is your favourite sports star?
KJ: Michael Jordan. I loved watching him during NBA Basketball mania. Michael Jordan – the name itself is a strong force.
IS: What is your life motto?
KJ: “Just do the best you can”, that is my motto.
Kim HyunJoong of SS501 and Kim Joon of T-Max both stars of Boys Over Flower fainted during and after their activity.
Kim HyunJoong held his fanmeeting after BOF and watched the final episode of BOF with his fans admitted that the lack of sleep caused his health to suffer. Even after the drama ended they needed to attend to a lot of activities that the BOF fame gave them. 3-5 hours of sleep is not enough for this star to recover the health and weight he lost during the filming. He was rushed to a nearby hospital when he fainted during a photoshoot.
Same fate was with his fellow BOF star Kim Joon, after his stint in BOF he resumed his commitment with his bandmates T-Max for the promotion of their album and promo. He reportedly collapsed after their comeback performance in Music Bank. Rehearsal and grueling jampacked activities caused him to faint. He was performing with his group after his absence during the PARADISE promo for T-Max’s BOF OST promo he came back with powerful performance in his comeback and the group’s comeback as well. But if your body can’t take it even the person itself can’t contol when the body says NO MORE!
