A fan recently put together the male celebrities have been quoted to look up to Korea’s top singer, Rain. Rain has really made his way up from the bottom. Now he is starring in the soon to be released movie, Ninja Assassin. Since he can easily be called one of the most famous people in Korea, it’s no surprise that he has so many followers from singers to actors, they’ve all names Rain someone they model themselves after.

[NEWS] Once Caught in Same-Name Controversy – AJ Will Change His Name And Is Casted For ‘High Kick 2′

Singer AJ who was caught in a same-name controversy earlier will have a change of name and will be transforming as an actor.

AJ went into CF, modeling, and also did promotions in other Asian countries in just 2 months into his debut. And now he is being casted for new drama ‘High Kick 2′. AJ was known to have taken singing, dancing and acting classes when he was still a trainee to prepare for acting activities.

He was also practising and preparing for acting while he did overseas promotions for the audition of ‘High Kick 2′.

AJ’s company said, “AJ has many greed to succeed and works hard on everything. And for this sitcom casting, he worked very hard for it. He wish to learn more from acting, and that hard work with will good results. And also because he will be doing acting, we have decided to change his name, but we have not come to conclusion for his new name yet.”

[NEWS] Taegoon, AJ, Chung Lim, “Instead Of Being Rivals, We’re All Good Friends”

There have been several male solo singers who are good at dancing making their debut this year. Taegoon, AJ, and Chung Lim.

In an interview recently, Taegoon was asked how he feels about the competition with them and he stated “I don’t think we’re rivals at all. Instead of being rivals, AJ, Chung Lim, and I are all good friends. I am especially close with Chung Lim since we often share the same practice room. We practice together sometimes as sunbae and hoobae. Both AJ and Chung Lim show off a really good appearance, so if there’s a time when we all promote at the same time, I want to have a collaboration performance with them.”

[NEWS] AJ Will be Changing His Stage Name in Time for the Release of His Second Album in July

On June 1, a source from Cube Entertainment announced that the decision was made on their end due to the greater-than-expected backlash from Paran fans for “copying” the name of the group’s youngest member.

Although AJ (Ace Junior) debuted with the same name only after consultation with people representing Paran, netizens attacked AJ for adopting the same name.
The Cube Entertainment spokesperson said that despite the controversy, they maintain a good relationship with Paran’s representatives.

[NEWS] New Singer AJ to be Opening Act for Lady Gaga’s Showcase

Newsinger AJ will be performing for the opening stage of pop star Lady Gaga’s showcase in Korea.

Lady Gaga will be having her showcase on 17th June in Korea ChungDamDong’s club, taking the chance to also interact with her Korean fans. And AJ will be her special opening performer. Lady Gaga’s representative said, “Of the list of stars to perform for the opening stage, Lady Gaga liked AJ the best.”

With that AJ’s representative said, “AJ is very excited and honoured to be able to perform for worldclass pop star Lady Gaga. He will bring to fans his best for the opening of Lady Gaga’s 1st showcase in Korea.”

Meanwhile, AJ will also be having his showcase in Japan and Thailand coming July.
