Female vocal group Cheon Sang Ji Hee member Sunday will make her comeback into the Kpop scene after 2 years appearing on local music show.
According to KBS Music Bank homepage, Sunday will be performing this Friday (20th November). It was stated that Sunday will be performing with hiphop singer H-Eugene, as the featured vocalist for the performance.
This will be Sunday’s comeback into the Kpop scene since CSJH last released the song ‘One More Time, OK? in 2007.

CSJH’s member Lina has become the CEO of a shopping mall. She has recently launched a shopping mall by the name of by L Style.
Lina was very involved in the whole process, even styling and modeling the clothes herself. The first collection will hit the runway just in time for the fall/winter season.

SM Entertainment plans on holding an audition globally to uncover a new global star.
SM plans on auditioning in four major cities starting with the American auditions in Los Angeles on November 15th, Toronto and Vancouver auditions on the 22nd, and New York from the 27th to 28th.
There will be five areas where people may audition for singing, acting, modeling (fashion and commericial films), dancing, and composing. There is no age limit as long as there are Asian contestants. You may send in your personal email and picture ID to (2009sm@smtown.com) and go to the auditions.

CSJH The Grace, also known as TSZX, are preparing for their comeback this year. While the plans for it being a Korean comeback or a Japanese comeback is still up in the air, Korean Shapleys have been notified that all four members (including Stephanie) are currently working hard for a comeback in the second half of 2009.
Stephanie’s back was injured late 2008, which forced her to withdraw from promotion activities for their Japanese mini-album Dear, but fans are saying that she injured her ankle in the United States, and thus postponed any future plans of an earlier comeback.
Meanwhile, DANA from CSJH will be holding a birthday party on the July 19th.
In other news, the schedule for SMTOWN concert that was announced earlier for August 16th, 2009 has been tentatively removed. A representative from SM confirms that the date is still in negotiation.

As promised, CSJH (better known as Tenjochiki in Japan) has been given a regular radio program.
Tenjochiki will have their own radio show. It will be called “Tenjochiki☆CHIKI” on the FM OSAKA station every Wednesday at 8:30PM. The first show, which will be on April 1, will have Lina giving a reaction to a diary entry Sunday wrote, and Dana will be doing 10 Questions.
Also, after the success of their Japanese concert tour in March, which ended earlier last week, CSJH will release a concert tour photobook on April 3, 2009.
It is still unknown of when Stephanie will return to the group for activities. She is currently resting due to back problems that began late last December.

After news of Big Bang’s Seungri being casted in the upcoming movie ‘71′ was released, public interest on the subject of idol group members taking on the big screen has once again been piqued. The first case of idol involvement in a movie was in 1998, when 6-member group Sechskies appeared in the movie ‘Seventeen’. Because it was based on the youngsters at that time and also because it was the first time idols have starred in a movie, it became quite a controversial project.
Subsequently in 2004, Sechskies member Eun Jiwon appeared in the movie ‘High School Girl Gets Married’, together with Im Eun Kyung.
In 2000, H.O.T also took on the big screen with a 28-minute-long 3D movie ‘Age Of Peace’. The short film was set in the year 2200, and featured H.O.T members competing for the Galaxy Cup. The movie also starred Dana of CSJH The Grace.
That was followed by ‘Emergency Measures No.19′, produced by gagman Seo Sewon. The movie became a hot topic of discussion as it featured many top idol acts of that time, including Shinhwa, Fin.K.L and NRG among others.
In the summer of 2006, it was DBSK’s turn to step into the limelight when they filmed ‘Vacation’, a story based on the adventures of the 5 members while on vacation.
The whole group of Super Junior also took part in the movie ‘Attack On The Pin-up Boys’ in 2007, which attracted more than 100,000 people to the cinemas. Super Junior member also featured in the 2008 movie ‘Romantic Comic’.
‘Meanwhile, So-hee of the Wonder Girls shared screen time with actresses Lee Mi Sook and Kim Min Hee in the 2008 movie ‘I Like It Hot’, and received some positive reviews for her performance.
In addition, Shinhwa members have also had starring roles in movies too – Lee Minwoo in ‘Wontak’s Angel’, Kim Dongwan in ‘Spin Kick’ and Eric in ‘Diary of June’. Former G.O.D member Yoon Kye Sang featured in the movies ‘Flying Boys’, ‘Six Years In Love’ and ‘Beastie Boys’, and former S.E.S member Eugene has also starred in ‘Unstoppable Marriage’, ‘That Man’s Book Page 198′ and ‘Romantic Island’.

There has been recently a craze amongst netizens to post up ‘MR removed’ videos on the internet which also led to many comparing the vocal powers of various singers.
‘MR removed’ videos minimizes any MR (music recorded) in the song and maximizes the vocal of the singer – the singer’s vocal will be the only thing audible possible.
For a singer who cannot sing well, with all the sound magnification and voice companion at the chorus, the song may sound alright. But with the ‘MR removed’ version, only the vocal of the singer will be clearly audible.
Especially recently, a lot of ‘MR removed’ versions of live performances have been posted on the internet, and netizens have been comparing between singers on their vocal prowess.
Currently, the hot favourites for ‘MR removed’ clips are done mostly on popular groups and also other singers – but dance songs have been given especially sharp evaluations by the netizens.
While netizens felts that singers like Big Bang, Dong Bang Shin Ki, So Nyeo Shi Dae, Cheon Sang Ji Hee and BoA have good live vocal capabilities, some netizens felt that live performances by WonderGirls, KARA and TaeGoon to be disappointing.
S.M. Entertainment will be joining forces with its subsidary company, S.M. Bravo in organizing the 2009 S.M. Entertainment Global Audition. Stars currently under the S.M. Entertainment label include the likes of KangTa, BoA, DBSK, CSJH The Grace, Super Junior, Jang Ri In, So Nyeo Shi Dae, Shinee, Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee. The auditions will kick off first in various cities around Korea.
S.M. Entertainment Global Audition first started in 2006 and took place in over 15 countries including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, America, Canada, etc and is a large-scale overseas event. Starting with Korea on the 14th of this month, the global audition will then proceed to China, Japan, countries in South-East Asia, Canada, America, etc, hoping to discover the next big thing.
S.M. Entertainment Global Audition was conceptualized with the main focus on discovering talent from overseas. But after getting bombarded with calls and requests from interested talents in Korea, S.M. decided to hold auditions in Korea as well and there are plans to make this permenent in future.
From 14 – 28th February, 2009 S.M. Entertainment Global Audition in Korea will kick off the first stage in Seoul, Jeonju, Daejeon, Pusan, Suwon, Gwangju, Daegu. For those who cleared the first stage, they will then go on to the 2nd stage where they will be tested with the newly imported S.M. Bravo system.
Regardless of your nationality or age, anyone who aspires to be a singer, actor/actress, model (fashion, CF), dancer or song composer (lyrics) can sign up. There are 2 ways to sign up for this, 1 is by sending in your resume and photo through email on the day before the audition. Another way is to report on the day itself with the necessary stated documents between 2 – 4pm.
For those who cleared all the stages of the audition, they will get to sign a contract with S.M. Entertainment and become a trainee. All training expenses including food, lodging, etc will be borne by S.M. Entertainment. Stars who came through the global auditions include DBSK Micky YooChun, CSJH The Grace Stephanie, Super Junior Ki Bum and Han Kyung, So Nyeo Shi Dae Tiffany, Trax J. Henry from Super Junior-M was the winner of the 2006 S.M. Entertainment Global Audition back then and is now very active in China.
