[NEWS] BEAST is December’s Rookie Music Award Awardee

BEAST has been chosen as the awardees to December Rookie Music Awards hosted by the Culture, Sports and Tourism board and organized by Korea Content Promotion board.

The Rookie Music Awards is a monthly event to promote the diversity of the music industry and encourage new content and music productions. And BEAST has been chosen as the awardee for the month of December. The award ceremony will be held on 2nd December in Seoul Korea Contents Promotion board.

[NEWS] 13 Stars Unite for “2009 NongShim Love Sharing Concert”

Previously a Stars’ Charity Bazaar news revealed, and now our Korean Celebs are together again in another good deeds event. This time it’s called “2009 NongShim Love Sharing Concert.”

 

The 10th “NongShim Love Sharing Concert” will be held on November 22, 2009. This activity will be done together with the Korean Red Cross as this event aimed to help the needy people. The visitors can come to the event by bringing their ID Card and 2 bags of NongShim Shin Ramyeon as their donation and when the number reach 1000 bags, the Korean Red Cross Korea will distribute it to the needy people.

[NEWS] BEAST to Perform Big Bang’s ‘Lies’ at MAMA

Although rookie group BEAST has been closely associated with their sunbae 2PM in the past for their self-declared beastly image and their performance of Again and Again, the six-member group is attempting to mimic a different male idol group for the 2009 MAMA.

Despite the sharp distinction between BEAST and Big Bang, the boys have agreed to deliver a special performance of the latter’s hit song Lies on Mnet’s award show. Netizens are especially curious to see how Jang Hyun Seung will fare as he almost debuted with Big Bang, but was eliminated at the last minute.

Lee Hyuk Jae is heating up the headlines recently, although it was not done in a particularly good way!

During his KBS 2FM Radio show The Beautiful Life of Lee Hyuk Jae and Jo Hyang Ki broadcast yesterday, Hyuk Jae featured rookie boy band BEAST to the delight of many Beauties. However, another fanbase was outraged by this broadcast. Confused?

At one point in their conversation, Hyuk Jae stated, “BEAST will be known as a prominent male idol group next year. However, with the experience you have now, it will not happen. If this keeps on going, you guys will soon be the next Battle.”

The Kpop scene has taken a change, from the ‘war’ of the girlgroups which went on for the first half of the year, now is the time of the boy groups.

Just looking at the performance list for KBS Music Bank on 13th November, we have 2PM comeback stage, and also performances by FT Triple, BEAST, SHINee, UKiss, SHU-I etc. And there is also SS501 and MBLAQ who did not perform on the show that day.

It is hosted by The Body Shop and MTV and titled,”Yes Yes Yes to Fighting AIDS.” The concert will be held at 8PM on November 24th at the Hongdae live hall.

In the midst of a sudden cold wave, popular girl group 4minute and idol group BEAST spread love to those who are neglected through heartwarming service and an overnight trip.

NongShim®, through their company’s service operation, has worked for the past 10 years with “NongShim Sharing Love Service Club,” which this year on November 2 and 3 presented a special sharing love event with 4minute and BEAST in ‘SoopChaeWon’ in KangWonDo’s HwengSung district (tn: SoopChaeWon is a park area, I believe).
