[NEWS] SHINee Minho vs. SS501 HyunJoong, ‘Go Dream Team’ Blazing Competitive Spirit

Idol group SS501 Kim HyunJoong and SHINEE MinHo (Choi MinHo) had a showdown with each other.

To be broadcasted on 15-Nov, KBS variety program ‘Go Dream Team’ recorded this episode in the newly reclaimed land SaeManGeum tide embankment. The attendance of SS501 Kim HyunJoong and SHINEE MinHo has gathered a lot of attention.

[NEWS] Boybands Taking Over Kpop Stage in 2nd Half 2009

The Kpop scene has taken a change, from the ‘war’ of the girlgroups which went on for the first half of the year, now is the time of the boy groups.

Just looking at the performance list for KBS Music Bank on 13th November, we have 2PM comeback stage, and also performances by FT Triple, BEAST, SHINee, UKiss, SHU-I etc. And there is also SS501 and MBLAQ who did not perform on the show that day.

2PM with their new title song ‘HeartBeat’ and SHINee with ‘Ring Ding Dong’ which was hit first place for twice in a row.
‘HeartBeat’ written by JYP Producer Park Jin Young, is placed first on some music charts and is getting lots of attention.

[NEWS] SHINee’s Onew Down With Swine Flu

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee’s leader, Onew has also been hit by it.

The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.

Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.

Group SHINee member JongHyun has been known to be given the green light that he has fully recovered from swine flu.

According to SM Ent, JongHyun has gone to the hospital on 6th November and has been said to have fully recovered from swine flu.

NOT Permanently, but just for one performance of Ring Ding Dong on the November 6th episode of KBS Music Bank!

The reason? Because Jonghyun is currently recovering from swine flu and Super Junior Yesung wanted to support his little dongsengs.

Yesung will sing all of Jonghyun’s parts live, which we are highly anticipating.

[NEWS] SHINee JongHyun’s Having a Fast Recovery

“We recently reported that SHINee’s Jonghyun was diagnosed with swine flu (H1N1). Fortunately, he is currently showing a fast recovery!

SM Entertainment had a phone call with Newsen on the 4th, stating:

He is currently receiving Tamiflu and other treatments in his home. He wasn’t in a serious condition to begin with and because of his strong and fit body, he is showing a fast recovery. The hospital estimated that he will be fully recovered within a week.”

SHINee is currently active as a 4 member group. Let’s hope that he will recover in time for their performances of Ring Ding Dong on this week’s music programs!”

[NEWS] SHINee JongHyun Down With Swine Flu

A SM Entertainment representative revealed on 3rd November that member JongHyun of group SHINee has contracted swine flu.

But they assured that his health condition is not very serious currently. He is currently resting at the hospital and receiving treatment for it.

The SM representative also revealed that SHINee will continue the promotions for their current hit ‘Ring Ding Dong’ as 4 members on music shows.

[NEWS] SM Ent Boycotts MAMA

We bring you yet more unfortunate news: artistes of SM Entertainment will not be taking part in the 2009 MAMA.

SME announced on November 3rd that their artistes including Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee and f(x) will not be attending MAMA. The reason given was that MAMA will be using a process similar to how MNET’s music program M! Countdown selects its winners, and SME does not trust the method nor believe that it is fair.

[NEWS] SHINee Says SM is a Family

SHINee, who recently returned with their 3rd mini-album 2009, Year Of Us and title track Ring Ding Dong, has spoken up on behalf of SM Entertainment.

Joynews24 had conducted an interview with the members of SHINee and asked if they knew about them being called the “puppets” of SME.
