About a month ago, we reported about a possible solo concert for 2NE1 due to their popularity ever since debut. While some thought it was a great thing, others were criticizing YG Entertainment for rushing 2NE1 to be the first rookie group to hold a concert so soon. Well, it looks like it isn’t going to happen after all!

Recently, many personal belongings of various celebrities have been put up for auction to benefit charity.
In this Celebrity Volunteers event sponsored by bntNews and Hyundai, Big Bang, 4minute, 2NE1 and Goo Hye Sun donated personal wardrobe items and paraphernalia in order to help children’s charities in Korea. Furthermore, Wheesung and Chunsin-soo will be present for a signing event as well.
“We hope that poor children will be happier and better off with the proceeds from these charity items,” a Hyundai official expressed. “We want to give them hope.”

2NE1 Park Bom will open promotions for her solo song ‘You And I’.
With the song release recently, the song ‘You & I’ has gone up to the #1 spot on various music charts almost immediately. This will be good news for fans since it was initially planned that Park Bom will not perform the song on music shows.
YG Ent said, “Recently, Sandara Park’s solo song ‘Kiss’ is also #1 on various music chart but there is no promotions for the song. And it was set for Park to focus on preparations of 2NE1’s full length album set to be released in November.”
YG Entertainment, being one of the top three entertainment company in Korea, get enough attention with Big Bang and 2NE1. Being compared to Music Bank and Music Core on KBS and MBC, netizens realized how all the YG stars are mainly featured only in Inkigayo (SBS). So now the netizens are rising up against the Inkigayo bias on the YG stars.
2NE1 Park Bom’s solo single release recently has been sweeping up the #1 positions on various music charts.
The song ‘You And I’ were revealed on 28th October, the first solo hit for Park Bom after her debut. After the song reveal, the responses by music fans are overwhelming. 2NE1 Sandara Park reveals her feelings about fellow member Park Bom’s solo single release.
Sandara Park wrote on her me2day page on 28th October together with a capture of Park Bom’s MV, “Daebak…ㅠㅠ Bommie’s song has really touched my heart… The MV is really pretty”
She continued, “It was very touching and brings tears to the eyes.. Kya~ Thinking about that, we don’t really have a love song.. It’s been long since I last have this kind of feelings.. I suddenly have the wish to be in love!!! Dangerous for DalOngie!!ㅋㅋㅋ”
