JEJUNG and YUCHUN, Tohoshinki’s one and only “unit,” takes the top spot in today’s Oricon Daily Chart. They sold a whopping 103,940 copies of their single “COLORS ~Melody and Harmony / Shelter.” The gap between the first and second place is quite big, with VAMPS selling only 13,962. Kawamura Ryuuichi is at third with 6,521 copies sold.

Jejung (23) and Yuchun (23) from Tohoshinki (a group consisting of 5 Korean members) formed a new unit under the name of 「JEJUNG & YUCHUN（from 東方神起）」and released their single 「COLORS ~ Melody and Harmony~」today, on the 30th. Taking into account that this is the first shipment only and they have already sent out 180,000 copies, this is a phenomenal record for the CD industry which is in recession. This is a start to Tohoshinki breaking their past “highest in history” records.
Theirs is the first unit (T/N: like a sub-group) from Tohoshinki, and it sparked a furor.

Big Bang has been working hard on their Japan promotions as well as solo projects and are planning to return to the Korean scene on T.V! Sadly, not with a new album.
The five-member group will come back as part of the upcoming Chuseok special on SBS. This is a surprise appearance since they were not supposed to have Korean activities for most of 2009.

Community site DCInside did a poll on the question “Which singer songwriter do you think is overrated?” from 22nd to 29th September. And GDragon was given 8133 (52.6%) votes out of 15,467 votes, coming in at #1.

So Nyeo Shi Dae will perform their debut song after 2 years.
The girls will be performing their 2007 debut song ‘Into The World’ after 2 years on this year ‘Chuseok Special Idol Big Show’.

The formerly seven-member boy band 2PM will perform on stage for the first time without member Park Jae-beom who quit the group early August, according to the group’s agency on Tuesday.
“We have decided that 2PM will perform at the 2009 Dream Concert on October 10,” an official at JYP Entertainment said.
