honestly are you serious no one other then the people who go on Perez know who the hell the Wonder Girls so wtf, would they throw (no offense) an unknown band with the Jonas Brothers when they could have gotten the already advertised and Billboard winner Utada or at least for the most part BoA since again the wonder girls great that this might really really help bad, because there are thise who deserve this shot

LOL. why would Utada or BoA downgrade themselves to Jonas brothers’s tween fans? Obviously it’s because tweens are more likely to be fans of Wonder Girls because they’re closer in age, so they’ll relate more! Asking that question is like asking why did Miley Cyrus work with Jonas Brothers when Celine Dion didn’t?
In my opinion, it’s a great marketing move by JYP. Even though it still makes me cringe that Wonder Girls will be associating with Jonas Brothers..

I saw them in Portland with the Jonas Brothers. I don’t think anybody knew who they were (Sorry, I don’t). They played some kind of low key ballad, when the crowd was there to rock; and, the crowd didn’t seem too interested. Also, I didn’t see any Merch(andaise for sale) for them. Their management doesn’t seem to have thought things through. If they’re from Japan, why are they trying to break through here and in this way. At least it left people wondering who the heck was that which is good if they follow up somehow.

They have about the same group of fans though, age wise. As both hit teenage/younger girls.
(and they’re Korean, not Japanese… But they are also vairly popular in Japan (?))
‘Nobody’ might not have been the best choice though. As like mtan said, the crowd probably wanted to start off with something more exciting….

i’m not the biggest wonder girls fan infact i hardly know them at all… but i still think they are better then the j-bros… not that the j-bros are bad but they are definetly not better then wonder girls most korean artists train for a long time (depending on their talent) until their company lets them enter the entertaiment biz while the US artists hardly train at all. korean artists train even if they are already good… so i think any korean artist is better then any US artist, the only reason the US artists are more popular is because US is more powerful and has more controll over the entertainment biz
